The Cass Gilbert Society has been on the hunt for furniture missing from the state capitol since earlier this year. There are about 800 pieces missing and all were designed by the state capitol architect himself, Cass Gilbert. Pieces include chairs, windows, and light fixtures.
Natalie Heneghan, Project Manager for the Society, will be at the Winona Public Library on Tuesday, December 19th at 6pm to talk about the missing pieces that have been located and the stories behind them.

This project has been financed with funds provided by the State of Minnesota from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund through the Minnesota Historical Society.
