The 2024 Ashley for the Arts Community Cares Grant application is now open, and Around River City is excited to help spread the word! This grant provides local non-profits, schools, and civic groups an incredible opportunity to secure funding for arts, music, and cultural projects that make a real difference in our communities. With a grant amount of up to $10,000, Ashley for the Arts is helping community-focused organizations broaden cultural horizons and foster creativity in our area.
Who Should Apply for the Community Cares Grant?
Eligible applicants include school districts, youth programs, and community organizations within a 60-mile radius of Arcadia, WI. Unfortunately, youth club sports without school affiliations, recreational groups (like snowmobile or hunting clubs), and religious or political organizations are not eligible. Ashley for the Arts is focused on projects that bring the arts to the general public, making it possible for more people to engage with music, art, and culture in meaningful ways.
What Kind of Projects Qualify?
If your project involves community arts, music, or cultural activities that are accessible to the public, this grant could be the perfect fit! Past grants have funded public art installations, workshops, theater productions, and more. Ashley for the Arts is looking for projects that have artistic or cultural significance, a strong community impact, local outreach, and a solid budget plan.
New Community Voting in 2024!
In honor of Giving Tuesday, Ashley for the Arts is inviting fans and community members to help choose the grant recipient(s) this year! After a selection committee shortlists the finalists, community members can vote on their favorite projects from November 28 to December 3, 2024, adding a unique layer of community involvement and excitement.
Important Dates & Application Information
Applications must be submitted online by 11:59 p.m. on November 22, 2024. Selected recipients will be notified by December 20, 2024, and successful applicants will be asked to incorporate Ashley for the Arts’ logo or acknowledgment into their promotional materials.
