LA CROSSE, Wis. — Early bird registration is now open for the 20th annual Steppin’ Out in Pink, an iconic non-competitive stroll supporting breast cancer research and patient care through Gundersen Medical Foundation.
Set for Saturday, Sept. 7, the event invites individuals, families, teams and businesses to walk together through downtown La Crosse and Riverside Park. Known for its uplifting energy and sea of pink participants, the event has become a hallmark in the Coulee Region’s community calendar.
Participants will enjoy more than just the walk. The morning will feature local vendor shopping, live entertainment and a celebration of survivorship and support. Organizers encourage early registration to guarantee an event T-shirt and take advantage of discounted pricing.
“Steppin’ Out in Pink is a powerful community tradition,” said organizers with Gundersen Medical Foundation. “Every step taken supports vital research and programs that directly impact breast cancer patients here in our region.”
Funds raised through Steppin’ Out in Pink help support local breast cancer initiatives, including research, mammography vouchers and patient support programs offered through Gundersen Health System.
