Here are some of the must-attend Halloween events in the La Crosse area to get you in the spooky spirit!

Haunted Barn at Hidden Hills WI

Ticket sales close at 9pm. Before 6pm, you can enjoy both the Petting Farm and the Haunted House for a package price of $19.00. For those who prefer a toned-down experience, a lesser scare option is available upon request.

House of Shadows

Dates: October 25th, 26th, 31st & November 1st, 2nd, 2024 | Sparta, WI

For a truly spine-chilling experience, don’t miss the House of Shadows in Sparta. This interactive haunted attraction, held in a “reportedly haunted” former infirmary of the Wisconsin State Child Center, raises funds for the Boys & Girls Club of Sparta. Whether you’re up for a little scare or a full fright, there are options for everyone.

The Not So Scary version from 5:30 – 6:00 PM is perfect for younger visitors, providing flashlights and visible ghouls to guide your way. But if you’re feeling brave, step into the Very Scary experience starting at 6:00 PM, where creatures lurk in the shadows, daring you to proceed. For a unique twist, the Glow Night on November 2nd offers a pitch-black journey through the house with only a glow stick to lead you.

Looking for something extra special? Check out the Boos and Booze nights on select dates, featuring a behind-the-scenes tour and a visit to a local venue for drinks. Plus, this year, the Onalaska Jaycees are joining the fun with a food drive to help those in need.

Ready for a fright? Dare to enter—if you think you can handle it!
