Singing Valentines Return to La Crosse: Surprise Your Sweetheart with a Barbershop Serenade

LA CROSSE, Wis. — Love is in the air, and it sounds a lot like four-part harmony. The Coulee Chordsmen Barbershop Chorus is once again spreading musical cheer with their annual Singing Valentines event, bringing a touch of old-fashioned romance to the Coulee Region on Valentine’s Day.

For a small fee, barbershop quartets from the group will deliver a surprise serenade to loved ones at home, work, or even out in the wild. The package includes a heartfelt performance, a rose, a commemorative photo, and a memory sure to last long after the final note fades.

“We want to bring back the romance of the ‘good old days’—when people took time to show they cared in unique ways,” said a spokesperson for the Coulee Chordsmen. “A Singing Valentine is the perfect way to make someone’s day extra special.”

They’re also inviting businesses to help spread the word—and perhaps even welcome a quartet into their space on Valentine’s morning to share the love.

For those who want to make their Valentine’s Day truly unforgettable, bookings are available now. To schedule a Singing Valentine or for more information, call 608-525-7104.

After all, nothing says “I love you” quite like a barbershop quartet at your desk or around the water cooler.
